The Hyundai Sonata is a V6 engine with great acceleration. 2007 Hyundai Sonata Limited. The reliability of the Hyundai sonata is great I have 180000 miles on the car and its still going strong.

The 2019 Sonata earned an overall reliability score is three out of five. The overall reliability verdict for it fell exactly in between worse and better than the average model.
It still scored in second-to-last place in the model comparison for reliability with the Honda Accord dead last. But it did receive a score of 55 out of 100 for this model year as compared to 19 for the previous years model. Hyundais commitment towards a better customer experience could result in a good overall score for the new Sonata whenever it gets rated.
Recalls There is one case of recall for the new Sonata. Hyundai Motor Company Hyundai is recalling certain model year 2017 Hyundai Elantra vehicles manufactured April 15 2016 to September 13 2016 and Sonata vehicles manufactured May 27 2016 to September 16 2016. In these vehicles the end seal for the drivers frontal air bag inflator may not have been properly installed possibly.
