It just pops it off I used a smsll screw driver to pry it off then there is a small threaded nut looks like a washer once the nut is loose you simply pull out the core have the key in so you dont loose any of the little cogs. Unfortunately you have to remove the entire back panel to get to the screws. I have read and looked at instructions on z3 glove box removal. My glove box does not sag but at the lower right of box is a pivot hinge that the metal pin is GONE.
